Position Overview

We are in search of an Electromechanical Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our engineering team. The successful candidate will take charge of assembling, testing, and diagnosing electrical systems and equipment, in addition to creating new methodologies and apparatus to improve our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Modify existing electrical systems to optimize their performance.
  • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Identify and rectify electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
  • Develop wiring schematics and engineering documentation.
  • Supervise installation projects and maintenance activities.
  • Pinpoint areas for enhancement and devise effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve product quality and automation processes.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with both AC and DC motor drive systems.
  • Familiarity with power distribution systems and safety standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PLCs, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), SCADA, and networking technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to travel and work varied hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hydraulic systems is advantageous.
