Job Title: Civil Engineer-Land Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer-Land Development to join our team at Edgewood Properties. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on land development projects, ensuring compliance with municipal zoning and land development ordinances, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality site plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct zoning reviews and site investigations to determine land development limitations
  • Prepare concept drawings and civil engineering designs for site/land development projects, including site layout, grading design, utility systems, and soil erosion & sediment control design
  • Coordinate with ownership, attorneys, land development, architecture, and other stakeholders to prepare comprehensive site plans and applications
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for construction phases of projects
  • Prepare written correspondence and technical reports, including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigation reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3-5 years of commercial and residential site design and permitting experience
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Understanding of jurisdictional requirements and RSIS
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, drainage software, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
