Role Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing patient medication therapies. This includes interpreting and processing valid physician orders, medication refills, and pharmacy requests. The pharmacist will also deliver critical information regarding all facets of drug therapy to guarantee the prompt, precise, and suitable administration of medications and intravenous solutions to patients across all age groups, in compliance with state and federal regulations, established peer standards, and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate patient drug therapies.
- Interpret and fill physician orders and pharmacy requisitions.
- Provide comprehensive drug therapy information to healthcare teams.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Minimum of six months of practical internship experience.
Licensure:
Valid New York State Pharmacy License and Registration.

36.00 hours per week
Schedule:
Day/Evening shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
