About the Role

Vital Smiles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental assistant to join our team. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • X-ray license and CPR certification required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: On call
  • Friday: 8-2pm
