Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of essential nursing duties, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs, including temperature and blood pressure.
- Performing fundamental patient care tasks, such as changing dressings and managing catheters.
- Observing and assessing patients for any changes in health status, mood, or behavior, and promptly reporting concerns to the RN Unit Manager or attending Physician.
- Engaging with patients to understand their family background and concerns.
- Preparing patients for medical procedures, explaining physician orders, and addressing any patient inquiries.
- Administering prescribed medications and providing immunizations as needed.
- Collaborating with and mentoring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Nursing Assistants (NA) to ensure high-quality patient care.
