Job Title: Managing Director

The Managing Director role at DelMorgan & Co. is pivotal within our investment banking division. It entails spearheading various responsibilities such as attracting new business opportunities, overseeing current client projects, finalizing agreements, and supervising junior banking professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue business development prospects, promoting a comprehensive range of services to potential clients;
  • Generate and manage new deal flows, initiating new client collaborations aligned with the firm's strategy;
  • Build client networks, establish and sustain a robust pipeline, and contribute to the formulation and execution of sales and marketing strategies;
  • Lead transactions through all phases, from initial client presentations to deal closures;
  • Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in daily deal execution, negotiation, and completion;
  • Effectively communicate financial insights and strategic matters in a clear, concise, and pertinent manner to assist corporate executives in financial transactions;
  • Show meticulous attention to detail in client deliverables;

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience at a boutique or regional investment bank with proven M&A execution capabilities;
  • Capability to make sound decisions based on data analysis and prioritization;
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing day-to-day client relationships and projects;
  • Proven track record of leadership and effective team management;
  • Prior achievements and a documented history of success in new business development and closing investment deals;
  • Comprehensive understanding of the capital market, encompassing deal valuations, pricing, structures, potential funding sources, and buyers;
  • Familiarity with capital advisory services, the M&A process, intricate transactions, buyer/seller tactics, deal structuring, and negotiation;
  • Substantial experience in client interaction, showcasing the ability to forge strong and influential client connections;
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, an MBA, or CFA certification;
  • Strong leadership and managerial proficiencies, blending good judgment, team building, and effective communication;
  • A strong desire to operate in an entrepreneurial setting, bringing creative thinking to contribute significantly to the long-term triumph of the organization;
