Power BI Senior Developer/Analyst

Energy Systems Group is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Senior Developer/Data Analyst to join our Business Operations team in Newburgh, Indiana.
Job Summary:The Power BI Senior Developer/Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI. This role will involve coordinating with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, working with Technology Operations staff to enable data sources and models, and building dashboards that provide insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate business insights.
- Create and optimize data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Develop DAX queries and functions to enhance report functionality.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support various business needs.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs, into Power BI.
- Ensure data is properly cleansed, transformed, and loaded into Power BI models.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics.
- Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Business or Marketing Analytics or Data science related work.
