About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Animal Welfare Coordinator to oversee the foster care program and build strong relationships with partner shelters and rescues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and a proven track record of success in fostering positive relationships between humans and animals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain foster caregivers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of foster caregivers.
  • Foster partnerships with local shelters and rescues to increase adoption rates and reduce euthanasia.
Requirements
  • A minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $52,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. Additionally, we offer comprehensive medical benefits, including dental and vision insurance, vacation and sick time, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays each year.
