RAPP is seeking a Contracts Intern to join our Finance team

Your Role:

As a Contracts Intern, you will have the opportunity to support our contracts team with administrative tasks, manage vendor and subcontract portfolios, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract-related queries. You will also have the chance to develop your negotiation and management skills, working with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the contracts team with basic administrative tasks related to contract management.
  • Manage vendor and subcontract portfolios, including coordination with Federal Small Business.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide support with follow-up tasks.
  • Assist in gathering information for compliance and contract reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help resolve simple contract-related queries.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in contract review, analysis, and documentation.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to maintain organized files and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with legal research resources and basic concepts of contracting.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate through active listening, clear communication, respect for diversity, and personal ownership.
  • Comfortable working with contract management software, databases, and other relevant tools.
  • In pursuit of a degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, business, or other related area.
  • Proactive attitude towards gaining knowledge and new skills, while collaborating with a variety of internal and external teams.
