Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and negotiate master agreements and ancillary documentation for repo transactions.
  • Advise on regulatory requirements for SEC mandated clearing of U.S. Treasuries.
  • Provide legal advisory support for repo master agreements.
  • Assist with complex negotiations and escalations for priority client relationships.
  • Support the internal netting process through contract reviews and legal summaries.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor Degree.
  • At least moderate U.S. legal experience gained at a law firm or in-house at a bank.
  • Member in good standing of a State Bar Association, preferably with the New York State Bar Admission.
