Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive neurological rehabilitation services to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our patients achieve their functional goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in neurological rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required.
  • Must be certified in the state of California.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, as well as OSHA and infection control regulations.
  • Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
