  • Cardiac Monitoring: Actively screen monitors for abnormal rhythms, morphology changes, and cardiac events, ensuring timely notification to medical personnel.
  • Patient Care: Provide accurate and timely reporting of cardiac changes, conduct routine reporting of all patients, and assist with admissions and discontinuations on the cardiac telemetry system.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service and care.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete patient documentation in the appropriate locations, including patient master lists, call logs, and shift changes.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a successful patient care culture by collaborating with healthcare team members and providing support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Completion of a recognized EKG Technician program or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in cardiac monitoring systems.
