Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and tour prospective residents, qualifying their needs and presenting our community and apartments in a professional manner.
- Proactively manage leads, document tours, and complete all leasing paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the entire tour route is well-maintained, including common areas, outdoor recreational facilities, and amenities.
- Walk rent-ready units and check on the status of vacant units to ensure a suitable number of available units.
- Stay informed about local market conditions and trends, contributing ideas to the Manager for marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction.
- Answer incoming calls and handle inquiries from prospects and residents in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude, promoting goodwill among prospects, residents, coworkers, and contractors.
- Address resident concerns and requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
- Ensure all maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with completed Service Requests on a regular basis.
- Review all notices to vacate to determine the cause of the move-out and make every effort to retain residents.
- Conduct periodic inspections with residents upon move-in/move-out.
- Assist in planning resident functions and participate as host for events as directed by the Property Manager.
- Consistently implement policies of the community.
- Maintain a professional atmosphere in the leasing offices and other areas where prospective residents and current residents meet.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent certification required.
- At least two years of leasing experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience, leasing and/or sales experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting and set goals.
