We are seeking an experienced Hospice Sales Consultant to join our team at Good Shepherd Hospice. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting public and professional awareness of our hospice services while increasing census and territory growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate strategies to promote awareness of hospice philosophy in the territory.
  • Conduct in-services on hospice services for physicians, civic groups, churches, nursing homes, and other appropriate groups.
  • Utilize technology to stay organized and manage relationships.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain high call average per week and have strong follow-up skills.
  • Identify partners for contract negotiation and attain/exceed sales goals consistently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient/family status and work with various stakeholders to build relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical sales, home health, SNF, or hospice-related experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of sales results and high character.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook and CRM programs.
