Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Phoebe Physicians, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include performing treatments and providing exercise instruction and demonstration for patients under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will also be responsible for documenting treatment results, utilizing equipment and technology to achieve the best outcomes, and adhering to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for patients under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Document treatment results per department procedure.
  • Utilize equipment and technology to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as required and complete all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2-year Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required).
  • 0-1 year clinical, medical setting experience (Preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and State of Georgia License as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) (Required).
