Merchandise Stocking Specialist

**Job Summary:**

The Merchandise Stocking Specialist at Cabela's is responsible for performing various merchandise stocking duties both in Receiving and on the Sales Floor. This role requires a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Organize and manage back stock daily.
  • Replenish product on shelves and in back stock as required per Merchandising guidelines.
  • Unload trucks as needed.
  • Remain Product "expert" through ongoing product knowledge training.
  • Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and plan-o-grams.
  • Assist with pricing maintenance and signing.
  • Keep work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
  • Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers, and customers.
  • Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
  • Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.

**Work Environment:**

The Sales Floor Associate - Stocking role requires constant movement, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires standing and/or walking for prolonged periods, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
