The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) is a premier organization promoting clean energy expansion in the United States. With a rich history spanning over two decades, we've established ourselves as a respected authority on policy analysis and research.

We're currently seeking a seasoned Senior Policy Researcher for Clean Energy Expansion to join our Policy and Engagement Team. This individual will possess extensive experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing energy policy, with a proven track record in quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive policy strategies to support ACORE's advocacy efforts.
  • Analyze and communicate the impacts of policy changes and market developments on clean energy development and investment.
  • Collaborate with the SVP and other team members to create solid analysis and recommendations on federal policies.
  • Represent ACORE in meetings with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sector analysts, member companies, philanthropic funders, and allied organizations.

Requirements

  • Strong purpose to make a difference through actions and efforts.
  • In-depth understanding of clean energy policy and market drivers.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into effective written materials.
  • Clear, concise written and oral communications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
