Job Description: Director of Renewable Energy Research

The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) is seeking a highly skilled Director of Renewable Energy Research to lead our Policy and Engagement Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality policy briefs, reports, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, and other materials that support ACORE's advocacy efforts.

About the Role:
  • Develop high-quality policy briefs, reports, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, and other materials that support ACORE's advocacy efforts.
  • Work closely with the SVP and other team members to create solid analysis and recommendations on federal policies that are critical to understanding the results from implementation of those policies.
  • Represent ACORE in meetings with policymakers, member companies, industry stakeholders and other organizations.

Requirements:
  • First-hand experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of energy policy, research and analysis, including quantitative data analysis, and publication writing.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
