We're seeking a talented Director of Policy Research & Analysis to join our Policy and Engagement Team. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing energy policy, with a strong background in quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of high-quality policy briefs, reports, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, and other materials supporting ACORE's advocacy efforts.
  • Create solid analysis and recommendations on federal policies critical to understanding their implementation results.
  • Represent ACORE in meetings with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sector analysts, member companies, philanthropic funders, and allied organizations.
  • Manage specific policy projects, programs, and convenings, including coordinating with internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Creative and collaborative spirit and approach to work.
  • In-depth understanding of clean energy policy and market drivers.
  • Strong background in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into effective written materials.
  • Clear, concise written and oral communications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
