We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager, Gas Complex Projects to join our team at National Grid. As a leading energy company, we deliver safe and secure energy to homes, communities, and businesses.

Our team collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute large complex gas projects while maintaining schedule and budget and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction management, and/or relevant utility operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large portfolio of multiple gas complex capital projects in the New England territory from inception through construction and closeout.
  • Drive efficiencies across projects for on-schedule, on-budget delivery in alignment with company values, safety objectives, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and provide direction for the accounting, cost, forecast, and construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates and drive the project(s) to completion.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering discipline, or related Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, construction management, and/or relevant utility operations. Successful delivery of complex projects preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints. Bottom-line oriented, budget conscious, metric/measurement driven.
About the Role

This is a hybrid role with approximately 1-2 days at the Waltham office. Note that a hybrid worker should also reside within a reasonable, commutable distance to their assigned primary office.
