The Role
This Licensed Mental Health Therapist position requires a master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field. The ideal candidate will possess an active and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in the state of practice. A minimum of 2 years of professional social work/clinical experience post-master's degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers.
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
- Participate in enriching the training experience of graduate students.
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Provide treatment for various mental health conditions using evidence-based methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is $58,300 to $114,300, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
