Cloud Infrastructure Manager

The Cloud Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the coordination, integration, management, and implementation of technology across all Nuvance Health hospitals and affiliates as it pertains to cloud computing. This position will provide leadership and expertise related to areas of responsibility, including planning, analysis, reporting, standards, policy, and staff development of those employees supervised.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set strategy, tactics, and roadmaps across areas of oversight.
2. Leverage data to understand risk, impact, scope, and priorities of business objectives, and enable the team to drive results.
3. Collaborate effectively with Sr. Leadership to ensure cross-Nuvance Health alignment and support for the Cloud Migration strategy and vision.
4. Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to achieve long-term objectives of effective leveraging of information technology to meet key business objectives as it relates to cloud enablement.
5. Responsible for personnel management, including interviewing and selection of staff, onboarding and training, counseling, and disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
6. Work with other members of the IT Department to establish long-term technology requirements and standards for cloud-based applications and technologies.
7. Research the rapidly changing cloud infrastructure and engineering industry and drive alternate solutions.
8. Maintain a security-first process to ensure guiding cloud security principles.
9. Contribute meaningfully to the development of software engineering or product fundamentals and execution of technology at large.
10. Complete annual assessments and provide coaching and career path guidance.
11. Maintain the highest level of customer support for the customer base through proactive management and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Monitor service ticket queues, assign tickets to staff, and respond to emergency issues during off-hours.
Requirements:
1. Certified IT Architect or Equivalent.
2. Understand Cloud Environment.
3. 5-7 Years of Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Preferred.
4. Manager Experience Required.
5. Bachelor's Degree Required.
Working Conditions:
This position requires a medium to heavy effort, with the ability to exert up to 35 lbs. force. The physical environment is generally pleasant, with little or no potential for occupational risk.
