Job Description

CRB is seeking a Senior Director, Construction Operations to provide leadership and oversight for construction operations within the region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

The Senior Director will be responsible for managing the risk portfolio of all active projects within the region, ensuring that proper standards and procedures are implemented at a project level. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining robust business operations procedures to ensure projects are adequately and appropriately staffed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement and construction processes on large projects, as well as experience with business development and client relations. They will be able to communicate effectively with technical leadership to ensure that tools and technologies are successfully implemented within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the leadership of Regional Operations groups to ensure project delivery standardization and consistency
  • Promote a strong safety program and safety record
  • Recruit and attract top industry talent to CRB
  • Establish and maintain robust risk management procedures
  • Develop and maintain robust business operations procedures
  • Interface with Office/Market Leaders to track and review business operations KPIs
  • Identify project execution and operational trends and develop corresponding improvements in systems and procedures
  • Communicate with technical leadership to ensure successful implementation of tools and technologies
  • Serve as client point of contact for new and existing clients
  • Develop win and project delivery strategies for key pursuits
  • Function as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team

Requirements:

  • BS in Construction Management or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in Design/Construction Industry
  • 10+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Ability to gain trust by demonstrating honesty, integrity and dependability
  • Experience managing projects in a variety of delivery methodologies
  • Experience with Business Development and client relations
  • Experience in developing proposals and 'win' strategies
