Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the State of Delaware. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
- Determine priorities of residents' needs based on nursing diagnosis
- Solve clinical problems and use the chain of command when assistance is needed
- Assign duties to subordinates, monitor their performance, and correct as necessary
- Work closely with the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, wound care team, Gero Psych team, and nursing administration
- Act as the charge nurse in the absence of the unit manager
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license, Delaware temporary license, or multi-state compact license
- Education, training, and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse or a Master's degree or higher in Nursing

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement based on its individual terms.
