Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary
The State of Delaware is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians
- Determine priorities of residents' needs based on nursing diagnosis
- Assign duties to subordinates, monitor their performance, and correct as necessary
- Work closely with the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, wound care team, Gero Psych team, and nursing administration
- Act as the charge nurse in the absence of the unit manager
Requirements
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license, Delaware temporary license, or multi-state compact license
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse or a Master's degree or higher in Nursing
