About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Counter Person to join our team at Beck and Masten Buick GMC South, part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive. As a key member of our parts department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of incoming inventory, maintaining a clean and organized parts department.
  • Utilize computer systems to accurately price parts and accessories, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Stay informed about current specials and promotions, effectively communicating them to customers.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Group 1 Automotive's values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in a GM dealership-related parts department, or one or more years of sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
