Automotive Parts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Counterperson to join our team at Lone Star Chevrolet. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, processing orders, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at the parts counter, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on parts selection.
- Efficiently and accurately process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and service technicians.
- Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records in the dealership's system.
- 1+ years of experience in an automotive dealership parts department.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent assistance.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
