Job Title: Programming and Content Manager

Riggs Washington DC is a historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. We are seeking a highly skilled Programming and Content Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Programming and Content Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program and content strategy for our hotels. This includes planning and executing events and activities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue, as well as managing the hotels digital content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program of events and brand partnerships for both hotels that align with the overall business objectives and allow each hotel to reach new audiences.
  • Plan and execute a wide range of events and activities, spanning panel talks, workshops and a series of wider brand partnerships across the pillars of fashion, film, music, art, design and culture, providing opportunities for data capture and database building.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools that support the program and content strategy.
  • Manage the hotel's digital content across various platforms, including the hotel's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback, ROI and engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement and development.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance the program and content offering for each hotel.
  • Manage the program and content budget, ensuring that expenses are in line with revenue targets and that ROI is achieved.
  • Work closely with the operations teams to ensure that the program and content offerings at each property are delivered to a high standard and that new events and partnerships are rolled out effectively and communicated properly.
  • Build brand awareness and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program and content management in the hospitality industry or other relevant industries, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and enhancing the guest experience.
