Clinical Supervisor RN

Job Summary
The Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor is a key member of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group while upholding clinical practice standards. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices. Additionally, the Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance, and providing clinical support patient care services in an efficient and safe manner consistent with clinical best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices
- Supervision of clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance
- Provision of clinical support patient care services in an efficient and safe manner consistent with clinical best practices
- Direct patient care at the top of RN scope of practice, according to individualized patient needs using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
- Coordination of patient care activities with other members of the healthcare team in a collegial relationship
- Analysis of patient data with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation process
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Washington Registered Nurse License - for locations in Washington
- Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course, Maintain certification - Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion
- Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Maintain certification - Lactation Postpartum, Postpartum Care Center
- 3 years RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program
- Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistant, nurses, and related clinical positions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an ambulatory setting
- 3 years Demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation
- 3 years experience providing patient education
