Behavioral Support Specialist

Compensation: $25 per hour
The mission of the NEEDS Center is to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through education, training, and support, enabling them to achieve greater independence.
Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will deliver direct 1:1 ABA services to clients both in their residences and within community settings.
Service Areas: Primarily in various local communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing individualized programs and behavior management strategies as outlined in the client’s management guidelines, IEP, and behavior intervention plan.
- Applying principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and demonstrating experience in ABA techniques.
- Working on a per diem basis, typically scheduled during weekday evenings.
Experience with children diagnosed with autism is essential.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and reliable transportation is necessary to access residential locations not served by public transit.
The NEEDS Center is dedicated to providing tailored services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our approach is founded on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PSB), integrating the strengths of both methodologies to foster independence.
Employment Type: Part-time/Per Diem
Compensation: $25.00 per hour for part-time/per diem shifts
Note: Full-time opportunities may also be available, including additional hours working with adult clients in day program environments.
