Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse I is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Progressive Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing education and support to promote patient engagement and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
  • 0-6 months related experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Clinical Nurse I must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods. A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
