Key Responsibilities of the Finance Team Leader:

  • Oversee daily general accounting operations.
  • Focus on budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Engage with subcontractors and project managers.
  • Manage month-end closing processes, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Gain experience in cost accounting related to construction projects.
  • Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable team as required.

Preferred Qualifications for the Finance Team Leader:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • A combination of general accounting expertise and financial analysis skills.
  • Previous experience in cost accounting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and Sage software.
