Geotechnical Field Engineer

Terracon is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Field Engineer to join our New England offices. As a key member of our team, you will provide engineering and consulting services for a wide range of projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations
  • Design and develop plans and specifications, observe and inspect construction, and write reports
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track project progress, and recommend changes
  • Research and resolve design and construction problems
  • Apply sound engineering principles and communicate complex issues to clients and project teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) preferred
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
