Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automation Technician to contribute to the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our advanced building automation systems. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who values teamwork and possesses a solid understanding of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the technician will perform a variety of essential duties, including:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of industrial instrumentation and electronic monitoring devices.
  • Conducting routine preventative maintenance inspections and diagnosing potential issues.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Documenting work performed and maintaining accurate records.
  • Troubleshooting complex telemetry and control system issues.
  • Implementing software and hardware modifications as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in:

  • Electrical and electronic circuits.
  • PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Calibration techniques for electronic equipment.
  • Safe operation of hand and power tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications:
A degree or certification from a technical school, or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred. A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:
The role involves exposure to various environmental conditions, including mechanical parts and potential electrical hazards. Physical demands include lifting and moving equipment as necessary.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $28-$34 per hour.
