We are actively seeking a skilled Duck Creek Developer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Duck Creek Policy Administration system, including hands-on experience with Author.


Job Description

The Duck Creek Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our policy administration system to meet business needs. This includes writing and testing software code, supporting the design and implementation of the policy administration system, and driving the resolution of system problems and program bugs.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or a Business degree with completed software programming courses.
  • Experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration system, specifically using Author, including providing solutions that meet business needs and production support for Duck Creek lines of business.
  • Experience in developing technical documentation, including diagrams, information flows, and presentations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or XML.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, with commercial experience being a plus.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business users, team members, and executive leadership.
  • Strong professional written and oral communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $90,000 - $115,000 per year based on experience.

  • Conduct system testing to ensure business requirements, reliability, and efficiency are met.

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and communicate potential solutions effectively.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
