Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the creation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and conducting financial audits.
  • Maintaining financial databases and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Supporting budget preparation and financial planning activities.
  • Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to enhance financial procedures and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Providing analytical support to the consulting team in interpreting financial data.
  • Engaging in special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Associate role should meet the following criteria:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, along with experience in accounting software.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive mindset towards problem-solving and decision-making.
