Accounting Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our client's accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and organize financial records, documents, and files.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
LHH Recruitment Solutions offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. Our benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Our associates may be eligible for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday pay where applicable.
