Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Career Development Coordinator to join our team at Wake County Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and providing classroom learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement instructional plans and materials that align with the Wake County Public School System curriculum and standards.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Supervise students in various school settings, monitor and evaluate student outcomes, and communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders to improve classroom educational experiences and promote student success.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum guidelines, policies, and effective instructional practices to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a relevant subject area.
  • North Carolina Professional Educator's License in a teaching content area.
  • Master's degree in a specific subject area preferred.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in an office and public-school environment, interacting with employees, students, and the public. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
