Overview

Concentra Career Choice is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

As a Nurse Practitioner at Concentra Career Choice, you will initiate, develop, and implement nursing care plans in accordance with state laws and concurrent with Concentra medical protocols. You will administer prescribed medications and treatments, observe and evaluate patient conditions, and record reactions to drugs and treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and protocols.
  • Observe and evaluate patient conditions, record reactions to drugs and treatments, and evaluate outcomes of patient care.
  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physicians.
  • Direct nursing care through nursing staff, prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment, and arrange referrals and consultations.
  • Draw blood, prepare paperwork for laboratory pick-up, and perform urine drug screens using proper chain of custody.
  • Assist in medical record maintenance, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information, and dispense medications as directed by practitioners.
  • Maintain and operate clinical equipment, perform ancillary testing and tasks, and provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Masters degree in nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
  • Must maintain work state nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment.
