Position Overview

The Customer Support Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional assistance and problem-solving for ecommerce clients who reach out for help. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming customer calls while maintaining a low abandonment rate.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues based on specific ecommerce platforms or accounts.
  • Review previous customer interactions to ensure continuity in service.
  • Handle calls efficiently to keep wait times minimal.

Monitor and respond to customer inquiries via email, ensuring a high volume of responses daily.

  • Address potential buyer questions from various ecommerce platforms.
  • Oversee return processes, including issuing refunds or exchanges as needed.
  • Facilitate warranty claims for retail purchases, providing necessary documentation.

Website Management

Respond promptly to claims submitted through ecommerce accounts and collaborate with marketplace representatives to maintain optimal customer ratings.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer operations, particularly internet navigation and Microsoft Excel.
  • Typing skills of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professional correspondence.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is situated in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Employees may be required to sit for extended periods while managing multiple tasks on various screens and communicating via phone. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be necessary.
