Job Overview

Marine Travelift and ExacTech are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various mechanical engineering projects to develop and design parts for our cranes and lifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using computer-aided drafting tools (SolidWorks).
  • Assist in the analysis of mechanical components, systems, and products using engineering software and tools.
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and finite element analysis as needed for design validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and project timelines.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least a Junior status.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word.
  • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to maintain confidentiality as applicable.
