We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at PC Construction Company. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and distribute bid packages to ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Obtain scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors and vendors, and perform thorough reviews to ensure complete coverage of the work.
  • Analyze and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontract/PO change orders to ensure compliance and compatibility.
  • Prepare and submit budget changes, and assign costs to the correct job cost structures.
  • Verify material deliveries for compliance to contract requirements and submittal data.
  • Develop and maintain contract document logs, including design drawings, specifications, ASIs, and other relevant documents.
  • Manage bid package addenda, and update and distribute documents such as design drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, potential change items, change orders, schedules, and punch lists.
  • Generate a submittal log at the onset of the project, and expedite submittals as needed to ensure timely construction activities.
  • Perform project management duties in a timely manner to avoid delays in field activities.
  • Keep progress up-to-date in the project schedule, and modify the schedule as required to reflect changes to the owner's contract.
