As a key member of the Johnson Controls security division, reporting directly to a Security Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to secure Planned Service Agreements with both new and existing clientele.
Role ResponsibilitiesThis position requires you to be the subject matter expert in video and digital services, focusing on proactive health management and more.
Your responsibilities will encompass two main areas:
- Reactivation and Enhancement: You will work on reactivating, adding to, and making minor adjustments to out-of-service locations. This is crucial for recapturing valuable recurring revenue and acquiring new customers.
- Sales of Comprehensive Services: You will promote our complete portfolio of services to both new and existing customers, aiming to drive impactful activities and improve attach rates.
Your daily tasks will involve collaborating with district sales leaders (CSMs) to manage key metrics, utilizing available dashboards and tools effectively.
Strategies for SuccessTo efficiently influence your territory and manage out-of-service locations, you will leverage various strategies:
- Utilizing opportunity data from platforms like Salesforce and Power BI
- Conducting field and phone blitzes
- Networking with property managers and other Centers of Influence
- Engaging in face-to-face marketing efforts
Additionally, you will:
- Follow the SPIN Selling Sales Call Process to ensure customers understand our value proposition
- Target and grow existing customers with low service penetration
- Introduce JCI digital services to new prospects
- Utilize approved marketing materials for presentations
- Identify prospects through creative lead-generating techniques
- Process contracts and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintain customer retention through follow-ups
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work a full-time schedule and travel locally
Preferred:
- College degree
- A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in commercial sales within the security or technology sectors
