We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team at SP+. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate shuttle buses in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors.
- Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers as needed.
- Be punctual and presentable, wearing the required uniform at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing assistance when necessary.
- Report any incidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as substituting for cashiers or valets.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and an acceptable DMV record.
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's, and perform these operations using units of American money.
The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and using hands to handle cash and equipment. Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may be required. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
