We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Access Scheduling Team Lead to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our Patient Access Representatives in Central Scheduling, ensuring that department goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain demographic and financial information, and input data into our SMS system.
- Coordinate Admissions: Oversee the completion of all Inpatient/Observation admissions for ED patients, as well as urgent and booked patients.
- Notify Patients: Inform patients of hospital Patient Rights, HCP's, and visiting information, including support person details.
- Monitor Productivity: Track daily volumes to ensure productivity standards are met.
- Coordinate Team Activities: Coordinate daily team activities to ensure appropriate utilization of staff.
- Promote Patient-Centric Environment: Foster an environment that prioritizes patient needs and satisfaction, working collaboratively with Nursing, Surgery, Recovery Room, Emergency Room, and Physician's Office teams.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge: Medical terminology knowledge essential.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of admitting/registration experience required.
