About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sled Account Executive to join our Local Government Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within existing client partnerships at the local municipality level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to up-sell and cross-sell new products and services to existing client partners within assigned territories.
  • Identify market trends, best practices, referrals, and new opportunity areas to drive sales growth.
  • Lead all stages of the sales process from lead generation to win/close, including cold calls, sales meetings, demonstrations, and negotiation.
  • Conduct initial qualification and discovery to determine client needs and develop persuasive solutions.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with client stakeholders, including Managers, Directors, and C-Level Executives.
  • Track all sales activity, maintain accurate contact/lead data, and move opportunities through all stages of the sales process.
  • Monitor and communicate target market information to management and exceed KPIs for daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in software sales or highly technical consultative sales to business or government.
  • Consistent record of outperforming quota in previous field sales positions.
  • Strong understanding of information technology and multiple platforms, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience working with various levels of customer leadership teams, from Managers to Directors to C-Level Executives.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, closing, organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a clear sense of integrity, work ethic, and a sincere interest in building strong relationships.
