Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Office Staff member to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of our doctors' and hygienists' time.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage for all clinical appointments, ensuring accurate billing and minimizing delays.
  • Financial Management: Collect all monies due for services rendered, develop and maintain doctor/hygiene schedules as necessary, and greet and check patients in and out.
  • Patient Education: Educate and consult with patients on treatment plans, ensuring they understand their options and make informed decisions.
  • Account Receivable: Manage account receivable, including sending billing statements, aging reports, and collections as necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: File insurance pre-determinations, conduct financial consultations with patients, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of front office experience, preferably in a dental setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
