Hospice Patient Advocate

Constellation Health Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Hospice Patient Volunteers. This rewarding role involves visiting patients with terminal illnesses, providing emotional support, and engaging in activities that bring comfort and joy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit patients in their homes or care facilities
- Engage in conversation, read to patients, or share music and videos
- Provide a compassionate presence and emotional support
- Commit to a minimum of one year to our program
Requirements:
- 18 years old or older
- Ability to commit to our program for at least one year
- Excellent listening skills, compassion, and ability to meet people where they are
- Online training (approximately 20 hours) focusing on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy
- No close death in the last year
