Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance procedures.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical systems.
- Perform daily inspections to identify potential startup issues.
- Repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Calibrate and repair pneumatic assemblies to meet job specifications.
- Modify and adjust complex process equipment and instruments as needed.
- Identify sources of issues by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Troubleshoot intricate problems associated with electro-mechanical machinery by following established protocols.
- Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and trends.
- Maintain familiarity with drawings, blueprints, schematics, and inspection manuals.
- Dismantle machinery and replace defective components as necessary.

Technical Skills:
- Install electrical components and hardware using tools such as soldering irons.
- Assess changes in part requirements by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
- Diagnose issues with advanced control systems and implement effective solutions.
- Align and fit assemblies using both hand and power tools.

Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventories of parts, equipment, and supplies by monitoring stock levels and managing ordering processes in collaboration with vendors and suppliers.
- Fabricate temporary replacements for unavailable parts until they can be sourced from suppliers.

Training and Support:
- Provide mechanical and electrical maintenance information by addressing inquiries and requests.
- Educate production staff on routine preventative maintenance practices.

Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems and maintenance practices.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
- Familiarity with general maintenance processes and methodologies.
- Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment effectively.
- Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear understanding of AC/DC machinery and motor controls.
- Knowledge of programmable logic control (PLC) systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of experience in maintenance, an Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanical Technology, or completion of a Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship is preferred.
- Certification in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field is advantageous.
