As a Diagnostic Sonographer - PRN, Days, you'll play a vital role in our team, utilizing your expertise to provide diagnostic patient care services using diagnostic medical sonography.
Key Responsibilities- Identify patients using two demographic identifiers and review physician orders for the procedure to be performed.
- Perform all ultrasound procedures using independent judgment, accurately differentiating between normal and pathological findings.
- Analyze sonograms, synthesizing sonographic information and medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician.
- Maintain a sanitary and organized environment, stocking work areas with linens and supplies as needed.
- Operate the PACS system appropriately, verifying studies before sending them for review.
- Credentialed Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
